The following are previews of lots open for bid March 18, each lot will have a link to its bid thread from here. Pics, video, and more info coming soon!

  • Consignor: Wholesome Hill,  Lot 1: Bred Commercial Doe

    • “ Bossy” is a 3 year old commercial doe who came to us open and to be a future recip. But, in an effort to slim numbers down in the herd - we paired her to our highly sought after all white fullblood buck Wholesome Hill White Boii with plans to offer her confirmed bred. Bossy is confirmed through both blood test and ultrasound, she appears to have 2 babies. If we weren’t attempting to slim our numbers, she could sit right here and have those percentage White Boii babies. As hot as white boer are now, there’s no way this gal’s babies don’t bring the owner her value several times over. Bossy, like the rest of our herd, is tested free of CL, CAE, and Johne’s.

      • “Cutter” is a big, broody, beautiful commercial doe built exactly as I like ‘em. She’s another that could easily sit right here and earn her keep by putting out fabulous percentages. She has a beautiful look, nice shape, great length, dark pigment and that perfect clean 1x1 Preferrred Teat structure we like in our show goats. This is the doe to make some ring quality dark-headed percentage show doelings from. But not this year, because we are selling her confirmed bred to our former black dapple herdsire Wholesome Hill Running Amok. “Runner” is such a hot buck, but there its getting harder to get Runner kids on this side of the country as he is now standing stud in the West. Some may see the only way to get Runner in your herd now is to get bred does or kids. And those does and kids are limited. Cutter is one of only 2 does we will offer confirmed bred to Runner this season. She had 2, possible 1, babies on ultrasound. Imagine the possibilities though - those kids will be fabulously shaped, Runner will add the level hip Cutter needs and both parents carry phenomenal size, no DQ traits, and profound maternal instinct from both sides. Cutter is tested free of CL, CAE, and Johne’s.

  • Consignor: Wholesome Hill, Lot 3: Straw Pair

    •

No Reserve Price, Opening Bid $25

2 straws of MM7 Ventura #10750448, a beautiful buck owned by the Diemers. He was absolutely gorgeous in the ring, what fabulous ring presence! Ventura placed 3rd in his class at Nationals in 2019. We have a nice buckling from our own use of these same straws. We are offering a single pair of these now but will probably be using the rest of them ourselves.

  • Consignor: Wholesome Hill, Lot 4: Bred Percentage Doe

    •

No Reserve Price, Opening Bid $300

Contact Tab Jacobs: 870-615-2820 or “Tab Jacobs” on Facebook Messenger
    • “Jolene” as she is barn-named, came to us and immediately made herself a source of laughter - she was the first junior doe of her group to always find a way into the creep feed run. At the time we thought it funny, then silly, then annoying, and then we realized: this doe grew herself out better than everyone else here! And here she is, looking most amazing, but she KNOWS she looks amazing and like all pretty girls who know they are pretty - she can be a handful. She has just been exposed to White Boii himself on 2/13/22. She seemed to give him much interest but we are not sure whether there was breeding or not that day. We will draw blood and pregnancy test on 3/14/22. She has already clean tested for CL, CAE, and Johne's and resides in a clean herd.

  • Consignor: Wholesome Hill, Lot 6: Show Buckling

    • "Bullseye" is the single best flush kid we will offer this year! His pedigree screams royalty and size with greats such as Mr. Magoo, Chicken On A Chain, Show Me Boers Patriot, and so many more on this baby buck's papers. He was destined to be good - but he quickly surpassed good and went to "wow" in the few months he’s been weaned. Imagine what his kids and type do for any single herd in one generation - or don't worry about any of that yet and enjoy showing him and having one of the growthiest young bucks in the ring! Bullseye was raised by a CL, CAE, and Johne's free recip doe and hails from a clean tested herd. He is microchipped and comes with his chip reader.

  • Consignor: Progressive Boers, Lot 7: Weanling Doeling

    • Charmer is a crazy sweet bottle doeling who is a bit on the petite side due to bottle feeding formula this season but she will catch up now that she is weaned because her parents are both huge. Her mother is a direct AABG Cadillac daughter “Keepsake” and is a foundational breeding doe here, and her sire is Wholesome Hill Maximum Charm. Max kids are pretty rare as they are too good to let go of when we have them, but since this girl was a quad, we must let one go. She is sweet, show correct, Preferred Teat, and just beginning to come on strong from an early birth and starting out at a mere 4lbs. The extra care she needed paid off and she is the sweetie of the group, she will melt your heart and grow up beautiful. Charmer is from a clean tested CAE, CL, Johne’s herd and dam.

  • Consignor: Raisin Cain Boer Goats, Lot 8: Young Doe

    •

Reserve Price Set; Opening Bid $500

      Contact Megan Cain: 870-256-5830
    • Hottie is a feminine but well put together doe. She is friendly and easy to handle. She has been shown at the county level and placed in both her class and showmanship.  Her dam came from Orsak Boers with bloodlines including After Burner, After Shock, Next Dimension, and Next in Line. Her sire had good foundation breeding with mass and size going back to Strategic Power, Bo-Beast, Eggspensive Powerplay, and Smokin Hot Ruger to name a few. She sells open and reproductively untouched.

  • Consignor: Hartman Ranch, Lot 9: Yearling Show Buck

    •

Reserve Price Set; Opening Bid $500

Contact Angie Hartman: 512-818-0686 or “Angie Edwards-Hartman” on Facebook Messenger
    • "Rock" is a long yearling buck sired by Hart 1 Heat Index and out of RJMBG Rocky Acre Legacy. He is solid muscle, firm with that sculpted twist we all want to see on a buck. The qualities I like best in him is that he is wide and has bone to spare. He has already made his presence known in the ring, gathering ribbons and placing first in class. Like his sire he has earned his show points by having substance with color. Gentle, friendly, and easy to catch he is always easy to lead. Rock is show correct: sound scrotum, bite is on, and has a clean teat structurel. Already producing, his first kids have not disappointed us at all - they are both quality and colored! Rock is from a clean tested herd, microchipped, and already on file with DNA. You need only take him home and put him to work for you!

  • Consignor: Wholesome Hill, Lot 10: Young Doe

    •

Reserve Price Set; Opening Bid $1000

Contact Tab Jacobs: 870-615-2820 or “Tab Jacobs” on Facebook Messenger
    • “Thick” is a beautiful young doe with a pedigree to match. She is show correct and aptly named - from day one, she truly was thick on the ground. Thick kidded for us once and gave us a powerful, unbelievably thick boned son that we have retained. She was an incredible mother, who kidded unassisted and hails from one of our anchor maternal lines that is also show blood - a rarity indeed! Her pedigree includes greats such as I Can’t Drive 55, Unanimous Decision, Go Dog Go, and she herself is a Westfall’s Yeah Boii! Daughter - with 7 ennoblements on her papers, her kids will walk off the farm no matter how you breed her. This is one of those “earn her keep easy” does: it does not matter which buck you breed her to, she’s gonna make any buck look good with the kids she puts down for you. She is being offered open and ready to breed. She is show correct teat/bite/pigment, Acceptable Teat structure A1 X A2, tested CAE, CL, Johne’s free, and comes microchipped with reader.

    • Diva is a registered  percentage doe still new to us, but make no mistake she wouldn’t be leaving with such fabulous cargo if we weren’t facing a full farm move this year. And what is that cargo? Embryo babies due Friday May 6, 2021. Their mother is our very own Wholesome Hill Marked Vixen paired with Wholesome Hill White Decision in her belly. These two were selected carefully to be the best pairing we could use as we did only one flush in December. Decision is a huge boned, stout, strongly muscled buck who is the perfect compliment to Vixens tall, long, graceful frame. They are opposite types in many ways and likely to be an amazing combination. Both parents are Preferred teat structures, with dead on bites, and complete pigment. Decision is from the White Boer lines, Vixen is the opposite, she is a chocolate headed beauty out of the famous Capragen A1 daughter Sandy Creek 1 Sweet Summer Time. The pedigrees on these two are powerful and yet rare, you will not see these lines combined anywhere - but size matters so much to us and there is size all the way thru these bloodlines on both sides, all the way up. We didn’t do this flush with the intention of selling embryos but we are retaining a same pair of embryos in another recip for ourselves and are counting down the days until these kids are due - they’ll be special! Diva is clean tested CAE, CL, Johne's.

    • "Prize Fighter" is a large framed, growthy, well muscled short yearling buckling. He is an AI buck who shot to the top of his cohort with his fast growth in frame size, which earned him a place as a junior breeder. Fabulous in the breeding pen, super easy to handle, and extremely docile he is just not being used as he should be here, this fella deserves way more credit than he's getting. This young buck needs to see a show ring! Snatch him up, put him on show program, and let him bring you ribbons while you're planning how to use him this fall! Prize Fighter is clean tested CL, CAE, and Johne's; microchipped, and comes with his chip reader. DNA has been submitted.

    • UPDATE: Test Results for Pregnancy come in today 3/18/22 by 6pm and will be posted
    • "Tiny" is a 3 year old mixed program doe we bred to Wholesome Hill Running Amok. Runner was our former black spotted herdsire who stands stud in Utah now. This is the ONLY way to get Runner babies until his new owner decides to sell some - buy a doe bred to him! She won't last long. Tiny is clean tested CL, CAE, Johne's and is from a clean herd; she is microchipped and comes with a chip reader.

    • Wholesome Hill Blizzard King is the newest generation of all white fullblood boer at Wholesome Hill. Blizzard was brother to our keeper kid Blanco who was also a completely white fullblood. Sadly we lost Blanco and really debated letting Blizzard go or retaining him. Ultimately we decided to offer him. He adores interaction and is the perfect balance of trainable, confident, and affectionate - it can be hard to find that balance in your buck kids, but he is it. Blizzard is not just white and great temperament though, he’s also a fine example of where we are moving the white boer to: impeccable topline - the type that is a Corrector for tops that need to straighten out that dip or snug up at the shoulders. He is also better front width than generations past of white, a more level hip, and a hard won turn toward a tidier center body with less of the “production belly”; and of course, cleaner teat structures. Blizzard’s sire is our popular white buck Wholesome Hill White Boii!, his sire is the 2nd largest buck to grace our place and while not yet 2 years old is already well over 300lbs. Blizzard’s dam is our super wide paint doe Vogue. She is moderate framed and weighs a more petite 210lbs compared to the white does, but she is still a bigggg bulldog style doe whom we prize for her mothering, ability to hold weight on air, topline, and temperament. This lines Blizzard up for size, temperament, top, production qualities, and if an all white fullblood boer can get complete pigment, its him. Grow him a bit and put him over your herd and make all the white fullblood boer babies you ever wanted! Blizzard comes microchipped, with a chip reader, and from a clean tested dam and herd that is free of CL, CAE, and Johne's.

    • This lot is a rarity - it combines Modern Show Blood with Old World genetics. How modern? The doe is none other than Sandy Creek 1 Sweet Summer Time, the only Capragen A1 daughter the Demmits had. Summer Time is a dream - she’s huge, tall, long, and has that beautiful shallow jaw you see in the does with the prettiest profiles. They did so much work with her, she is absolutely the best temperament, best trained doe I have ever seen in my life - she stands on 373 points and those points are HER points not offspring points. Think about that: what it takes for a doe to win that much. You could breed this doe to a pygmy buck and have amazing kids! But - we did not breed her to a pygmy. We used her as the donor in an IVF to one of the most famous Old World bucks that ever lived: Tarzan T66. Tarzan needs no introduction, Dr. Homeyer owned this phenomenal buck and I’ve asked everyone who ever saw him: Was he huge? Was he nice? What was he like? I heard different opinions, but I also looked at how he has been paired in the past. I expect this use of Tarzan, this particular pairing to result in kids that are so much more than the way Tarzan has been used previously. The same with Summer Time - Tarzan carries the physical features I would add to Summertime if I were going to add anything and he adds mothering to her modern show line. Dr. Homeyer was consistent in explaining how strong the Tarzan daughters were as mothers. These are two phenomenal animals who both have their own following and name - these embryo babies are the whole package. Pedigree, papers, fame, size, type, production, mass, and temperament. We’ve already done ALL the work, these will be strong kids who will also be a living breathing piece of history. Embryos were put up by TransOva and held on farm in our dedicated embryo tank that allows straws containing embryos to stay completely immersed and undisturbed.

    • Update: Selling as an Exposed Doe to our J&M Hideaway son (a beautiful black moonspotted buck)
    • Reflection is an almost yearling doe whom I absolutely would not be parting with IF we didn’t truly have to downsize. She is from a phenomenal milking line of 100% Nubians who carry size and Will To Milk that is priceless. Her dam was my beloved Adele; she was a regular 9lbs a day milker who happened to milk heavily for 12 months every time she freshened. Adele was a huge contributor to why we have been able to feed bottle kids without going broke and the kid crop this year feels the loss of her. I expect her daughter to produce the same way by her 2nd freshening as her sire also hails from a volume milking line. He was our huge Nubian hersdire “Larry” also known as Tamris Farms SC Red Jasper, Larry kids are rare now as he is no longer with us. Reflection is from a clean tested herd and dam, free of CL, CAE, and Johne's. She is microchipped and a chip reader can be purchased with her sale for an additional $60.

    • 2 straws Wholesome Hill White Boii. I was asked so many times for these straws, I decided to let one pair go. I want to let many pairs go but I can not until I have a son to fill his shoes. That son would have to be what he is: massive in size, fast early growth seen in the weaning weight, huge bone, fabulous profile and head, no breed flaws, and of course entirely white. White Boii is the 2nd largest buck we’ve produced. When he is pasture-style thin, body scoring at 2.5 he weighs well over 300lbs. Yet he is not even 2 years old. A friend recently saw him on farm and said “He can’t show because he doesn’t have pigment” I answered that is correct but I have a son who has full pigment and she said: “I’d take him to show anyways, to show people REAL size, he doesn’t need to win - he is a new kind of beast and will steal the show from a pen without ever walking a ring.” She may be right, he certainly has his share of attention - and he is already making gorgeous all white fullblood kids, sometimes even from colored does.
